Bowhunter Education

In 1969 New Jersey native, Bill Wadsworth, recognized the need for Bowhunter Education and developed this program that has been adopted by agencies across North America for use in their own jurisdictions.

In partnership with the National Bowhunter Education Foundation, the Saskatchewan Bowhunters Association is proud to present the official Saskatchewan bowhunting safety education course. The first of its kind in Canada, this online course is coupled with a field day to teach participants about shot placement, proper equipment, game identification, tree stand safety, animal recovery and more. The course is accepted across North America and is valid in any jurisdiction where Bowhunter Education Certification is required to purchase a hunting license.

NOTE: There will be a Bowhunter Education Course Field Day on October 20, 2018, in Regina, SK. Anyone interested must first complete the online portion of the course. Please contact Michael Kincaid to register for this field day.
